100% Nerello Mascalese. Massimiliano Calabretta is a part-time college professor that makes Etna wines like Bartolo Mascarello. The majority of his vines are 80+ years old and are on their own rootstock, after fermentation the juice ages in botte grande then in bottles for a prolonged period, Massimiliano often releases his wines six to eight years after most Etna producers. This rosato is expressive and fuller body, perfect to stand up to a variety of food.
