100% Cinsault. Winemaker Abe Scheoner is something of a free spirit and an accomplished scholar. He bucks every winemaking trend in order to create the brightest, most structured, and most assertive wine this side of the Atlantic. This Cinsault is from own-rooted vines planted in about 1870 in sandy soil in the center of Lodi. Ridiculous quality. This wine is subtle, graceful, floral, but no less powerful. Give it some time in the decanter.
